The Privacy Policy has been developed by the Charitable Organization “Charity Fund “EDUKIDS” (hereinafter referred to as the Fund) in accordance with the provisions of the current legislation of Ukraine, in particular the Law of Ukraine “On Personal Data Protection” and other regulations governing the collection, processing, storage and protection of personal data of persons who are Users of the Website.
1. Definition of terms
Website – the official website of the Charitable Organization “Charity Fund “EDUKIDS”on the Internet at the following link: www.edukids.ua.
User – a person who has provided his/her personal data (information) by filling out an application form on the website, by making a donation, by using the Fund’s website.
Personal data (information) – data (information) provided by the User when filling out the application form on the website, making a donation or in the process of using the Website, including, but not limited to, the User’s data transmitted via social networks.
The application form on the website is a special form where the User enters his/her personal data for the purpose of further interaction with the Fund.
Cookies – data fragments created by the Website and stored in the User’s computer or mobile phone in the form of one or more files. Cookies do not contain personal data and can be blocked by the User.
2. General provisions
2.1. The use of the Website means the User’s unconditional consent to this Policy and the provisions specified in it regarding the collection, processing and protection of his/her personal data. If the User does not agree with the terms of the Policy, he/she must refrain from using the services and products of the Website.
2.2. The User is personally responsible for the accuracy of the personal data provided by him/her. The Fund does not verify the accuracy of the information received about the User, including the ability to assess his legal capacity.
2.3. The main purpose of this Policy is to ensure the protection of the User’s personal data from unauthorised access and disclosure.
2.4. The Privacy Policy is a public document of the Fund, published on its official Website and is available to any User.
3. Personal data, purposes of their collection and storage periods
3.1. The User’s personal data permitted for processing within the framework of this Policy are: name, surname, patronymic, telephone number, e-mail, and other data specified in the application form on the Website.
3.2. By filling in the application form on the website, by making a donation, the User agrees to the transfer and processing of his/her personal data.
3.3. The Fund uses the User’s personal information in order to:
- identify the User for further interaction with the Fund, including participation in the Fund’s programmes and projects;
- send the User information about news in the Fund’s activities;
- provide the User with information about the services, promotions and events of the Fund;
- conducting research, including statistical research, based on the collected data.
3.4. The User’s personal data will be stored on the website’s electronic media for an indefinite period of time.
4. Protection of personal data
4.1. The Fund takes all necessary technical, organisational and legal measures to ensure the protection of the personal data of the Website Users from unauthorised or accidental access to them, destruction, copying, blocking, distribution and other illegal actions provided for by the current legislation of Ukraine.
4.2. The User is informed that the provision of the User’s personal data at the official request of the authorised state authorities and local self-government bodies is carried out in accordance with the procedure established by the current legislation of Ukraine.
4.3. The Fund does not collect any other personal data of the User except for those that he/she has provided through the application form on the Website or when making a donation.
4.4. The method of data transmission via the Internet is not 100% secure. Despite the Fund’s best efforts, it cannot guarantee the security of any information transmitted by the User if this information is accessed outside the technical means under the control of the Fund. The User acknowledges the above risks and agrees that the Fund shall not be liable for any damage caused by such access.
5. User rights
5.1. Users of the Website have the right to receive information from the Fund regarding the processing of their personal data.
5.2. The User shall send a request for information to the address specified in the contact details of the Fund on the Website.
5.3. The User has the right to receive a response no later than thirty calendar days from the date of receipt of the request, except as provided by law.
6. Use of the Website
6.1. The User agrees not to copy, download, reproduce, republish, publish, make available for commercial use or otherwise use the content of the Website.
6.2. The User is prohibited from using the content of the Website in order to damage the reputation of the Fund or to present the content in an inaccurate or incorrect manner.
6.3. The User undertakes to comply with the legislation on the protection of intellectual property rights.
6.4. When using the Website, the User’s non-personal data (e.g. the User’s IP address, data on the User’s location that can be determined on the basis of the User’s IP address, technical parameters of the device from which the User accesses the Website, etc.) may be collected, processed, used, or disclosed.
7. Cookies
7.1. The Site uses cookies to analyse visits to the Site, which allows to form an approach to the interests of Users. The Fund may receive, process and use the information contained in the cookie. The user can allow or prohibit the use of cookies.
8.Personal data (information) of the child
8.1. The Fund does not collect personal data from children under 18 years of age. The Fund receives all personal information (data) about children exclusively from the child’s parents or legal representatives, including when filling out the application form on the Site.
8.2. If the child’s parents or legal representatives find out that the child has provided personal information (data) about himself/herself without their consent and they believe that such data should be destroyed at their request, such information (data) shall be destroyed.
9. Final provisions
9.1. By agreeing to this Policy, the User confirms that at the time of collection of personal data, he/she fully understands the content and purpose of the data collection.
9.2. Changes to the Policy shall be made by the Fund without the consent of the User. The new version of the Policy comes into force from the moment it is posted on the Website. If the User does not agree with the new version of the Policy, he/she must stop using the Website.
